Nishinomiya Municipal Nishinomiya High School will celebrate its 100th anniversary in 2020, and to mark the occasion, a Licca-chan doll wearing the Ichinishi uniform is being sold.
It was apparently planned as a commemorative project by the school’s alumni association, “Shohakukai,” but it’s quite a bold idea.

What Is Salat Co., Ltd.?
Salat Co., Ltd., the company selling this uniformed Licca-chan, is apparently a Himeji-based company that “provides comprehensive support for alumni associations.”
They offer various services related to alumni associations, such as creating alumni directories and producing and managing websites. One of those services is a “commemorative item production business,” and this “Original Uniform Licca-chan” is one of those items.

Original Uniform Licca-chan
When you think of Licca-chan dolls, you think of the dress-up dolls released by Takara (now Takara Tomy), right?
The first Licca-chan was released in 1967, so she has been around for more than 50 years now.
This “Original Uniform Licca-chan” was planned as a collaboration between Takara Tomy, the maker of Licca-chan, and Salat.
It has actually been sold for more than 10 years already, but it seems to have been gradually gaining popularity recently, and official Twitter and Instagram accounts have also been opened.
Licca-chan dolls from more than 30 schools have apparently been sold so far, but among schools in Nishinomiya, Ichinishi is the first.
It is available for a limited time and in limited quantities, so Licca-chan fans may want to consider buying one while they have the chance.
How to Apply
Since we have the opportunity, Nishitsu is also going to try buying an Ichinishi Licca-chan.
There are three ways to apply: postcard, fax, and online.
Applications by postcard or fax require the actual flyer, so here we’ll apply online.

As you read and scroll down, you’ll find a banner near the bottom that says “ご注文画面へ⇒” (“Proceed to Order Screen”), so click it.
First, you’ll see a screen about the handling of personal information, so agree and proceed to the next screen.

An order form like this will appear.
This time, we’re going to order one Licca-chan doll and choose cash on delivery as the payment method, so we’ll enter those details.

Then the total payment amount will be displayed.
It’s the amount with shipping and the cash-on-delivery fee added to the base price.
After checking it, click the “個人情報へすすむ” (“Proceed to Personal Information”) banner at the bottom right to go to the next screen.

Enter each item carefully so there are no mistakes.
Since we are neither current students nor graduates of Ichinishi, we’ll select “一般” (“General”) for the graduation category.
Once everything is filled in, click “確認する” (“Confirm”).
