I went to enjoy a lunch with an incredibly lavish appetizer at the authentic Italian restaurant “il Pumo(イル・プーモ)”.

This is the “Assorted Appetizer” and “Small Soup” that come with the lunch set.

Wait, isn’t this way too luxurious…?
There was couscous in the middle, salad, salami, chicken ham, cucumber and daikon pickles, broccoli, a sweet sweet potato dish, spinach quiche, fried shrimp, and more.

There were about 4 or 5 shrimp like this in there. Wow.

The soup of the day was corn soup. It had that special flavor you can only get at a restaurant♡

“AZ Veal and Mushroom Ragu Bianco [Rigatoni]” lunch set, 1,830 yen.

The ragu sauce is meaty yet has an elegant flavor. It pairs perfectly with the subtle tomato acidity.

This is the “Fresh Fish from Akashi and Arugula in Tomato Sauce” lunch set, 1,500 yen.

The perfectly thick pasta is coated in the sauce♡ The arugula is added on top, so it tastes fresh.

And this homemade bread. It’s so good I wanted to buy some to take home.

It’s also amazing for wiping up the pasta sauce.

Final Thoughts
I was surprised by how incredibly luxurious the appetizer was♡ You can choose a main dish in addition to pasta, so next time I’d like to try one of the mains too. Please note that lunch is available only on Fridays, Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. I recommend making a reservation before you go.
