Looks Like You Can Make 3D Avatars at Gardens Japan’s First Apparently

It looks like you’ll be able to make a 3D avatar at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens from March 10 to March 12♪

From Japan’s first! Joint development of a print sticker photo booth that can create 3D avatars｜Press release by FURYU Corporation

Apparently, what’s basically a purikura photo sticker booth will be set up in “Festival Garden,” the plaza in front of Izumiya on the 1st floor.

They say the photos taken there will also appear on a large monitor installed inside the venue!

The avatars you create will be printed as cards, and you’ll also be able to download the image using a QR code.

This time, it seems you can create a toon avatar from a site called Docomo Avatar Portal. It apparently automatically generates an anime-style avatar from a face photo.

Here it is on the floor map↓

Finally

Nishitsu-dori is 2D, but a 3D avatar sounds nice. I’ve never entered the metaverse before, but I wonder if it’s the kind of avatar you can use there. It feels like cutting-edge technology, which is pretty amazing. Apparently it’s being set up as an interactive experience, like something for graduates to enjoy as a memory✨
