Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens has several buffet-style restaurants, and this time we’re introducing one that’s exactly what its name says: “The Buffet Garden Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens.”
Nilax, a company that operates buffet restaurants across Japan, opened this location in Gardens this April.
It seems to be bustling with lots of customers every day.

Food at “The Buffet Garden Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens”
Let’s take a look at the dishes that were lined up.
The price is “Adult Lunch” (1,699 yen) + “Drink Bar / Smoothie Bar” (299 yen).
First up: fried, grilled, and steamed dishes.
This is “French toast.”
Apparently, depending on the time of day, they also do live cooking in this area.
I started by taking some dishes from this section.
Every dish had a little creative touch, and the seasoning was really delicious.
It’s easy to end up eating too much, but the trick to enjoying a buffet is not taking too much of any one dish.
Here, grilled dishes and steamed vegetables are lined up.
The sauces are also nicely varied, which makes it fun.
I had the “grilled chicken” and “grilled pork.”
For the sauce, I chose “grape and balsamic.”
It was a sweet-and-tangy sauce, but not too strong, and it brought out the flavor of the meat nicely.
This is the vegetable section.
There are plenty of toppings and dressings too.
I had a few vegetables as well.
Each one had clearly been given an extra bit of care.
Delicious.
This is the soup, noodle, and hot deli section.
They have curry and other dishes too.
I tried the curry.
It wasn’t very thick.
It wasn’t too spicy either, and the flavor of the vegetables and pork broth came through nicely.
Next, I also had the “mushroom peperoncino.”
The garlic and chili pepper stood out nicely, and it was delicious.
This is the dessert section.
Of course, I tried several desserts too.
They were all good.
Finally, the drinks.
This is the drink bar and smoothie bar.
They have this many teas as well.
Amazingly, tapioca pearls were all-you-can-drink too.
It says “summer only,” but apparently they extended the promotion because it was so popular.
So, to finish, I had a “tapioca milk tea”~~
