In February this year, we ran a survey asking, “What’s your favorite bakery in Nishinomiya?” The bakery that came in first was “yotsu パン製作所”, located between Kusugawa Station and Imazu Station, so we went and picked up a variety of breads!

This bread was recommended by so many people in the Nishi2 survey!
The surface has a firm bite, while the inside is chewy and springy!
The more you chew, the more the yuzu aroma gently spreads.
Extra-Thick Wiener 290 yen (tax included)
This one is popular too, and there’s a limit of “up to 5 per family”!

Smoked Salmon & Mascarpone Casquette 360 yen (tax included)
Crisp onion, rich salmon, and cream cheese. You just know this is good!
The French bread has such a nice chewiness.
Amande Citron 330 yen (tax included)
It looks so cute, almost like a dessert!
The Danish pastry around the outside is super crisp and flaky! Super crisp and flaky!
Inside, the lemon cream and white chocolate make it refreshing.
The subtle bitterness of the lemon peel is just perfect.
They even gave us a slice of shokupan as a service!
The crust is crisp with a gentle sweetness. This is the kind of shokupan where you actually want to eat the crust first! The inside is chewy too.
I totally get why reservations fill up so quickly.

We went for the interview on May 27, and shokupan reservations were already full through the next three business days. It’s seriously popular!
