A new shop opened today along the Rokutanji River near Hanshin Nishinomiya.
The shop is called “Diner103’s.”
It’s an izakaya, but apparently their curry is their specialty.
An izakaya and curry is a surprisingly unusual combination, isn’t it?
We stopped by the newly opened shop.

Exterior of “Diner103’s”
The shop is on the first floor of this cream-colored building.
Let’s take a closer look.
Apparently, the floor at the top of these stairs is the first floor.
You can see the entrance to the shop.
There’s an open sign out front (it was raining, so it looks a little horror-movie-like).

Inside “Diner103’s”
Here’s what the inside looks like.
There are counter seats and just one table.

It’s a rather compact shop, but the manager said they chose a smaller space because they wanted to be able to personally attend to every customer.
The shelves are still pretty empty, but they’re planning to fill this area with alcohol too.

This time, we visited during lunch.
Since we were there, we decided to try their specialty curry.
Food at “Diner103’s”
This is the “Beef Tendon Curry Lunch” (700 yen).
The beef tendon had been simmered thoroughly and was wonderfully tender.
The rich flavor of the beef tendon had melted into the curry, and as expected, beef tendon curry is delicious.
Next time, we’d like to visit during dinner as well and try some drinks.
