Recently, Shachobi from Nishitsu, who seems to show up whenever there’s a sake event, heard that a “Special Tasting Event” was being held at Nihonsakari on Sunday, July 16, so…

Ta-da! We came to Sakagura-dori Rengakan!

“Special Tasting Event”
Admission is free, and for 1,500 yen you can choose and enjoy 6 cups from 10 different kinds of sake.

It was being held in the large hall on the 2nd floor of Nihonsakari Sakagura-dori Rengakan.

Whoa! So many people came~~~~~~~!!!!

Now comes the ultimate decision: choosing 6 out of these 10 varieties.

The event flow is simple.

Pay at the reception desk and receive an order sheet.

Find a seat. When all the seats are taken, it becomes standing-style tasting~

Then, line up.

This time, we choose 6 from these 10 types of sake, but it’s hard to decide~.

Mark the sake you want to drink in red.

Our turn is finally here~~~.

They pour it all the way to the brim~~!

They place the cup over the sake you chose and pour it there, so it’s nice that you can tell which is which.

You can buy snacks at the specialty goods shop on the 1st floor.
By the way, that day several people came up and said, “Are you from Nishitsu? I always read your site!” which made me really happy~.

The freeze-dried curry vegetables were unusual, so I bought some.

The sake was delicious! The freshly pressed unpasteurized genshu really packed a punch~.

The kind of person who immediately wants to smell everything~.

It was perfect for this hot summer~.
Lastly
Apparently, more than 100 people came that day, which was more than expected!! And the good news is that this event will also be held in August and September~. Once the exact dates are announced, we may share them here on Nishitsu, so be sure to keep an eye out.
