It looks like Imazu Lighthouse will be featured on NHK’s “Ohayo Kansai” from 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25.

According to information from Ozeki, the company that operates Imazu Lighthouse, the lighthouse will be featured in the opening two minutes from 7:45 a.m. on Tuesday, July 25. It seems it will be filmed from a helicopter, so I wonder what Imazu Lighthouse will look like from above. (Depending on the program schedule, the broadcast may change if weather conditions or major news events occur.)

As we reported the other day, Imazu Lighthouse will be moved from its current location to another spot.

It seems the lighthouse’s light at this location will be turned off on August 10. A lights-out ceremony will also be held that day.
Lastly
Right now it shines green, but after the relocation it will apparently change to red, so there are only about two weeks left to see it in green. This will be the last summer to take commemorative photos with the green Imazu Lighthouse. I’m thinking I really should go soon.
