It’s currently a field located between Nishinomiya 2 Rinkan and Taikotei Nishinomiya.
If you head this way, you’ll find Nishinomiya 2 Rinkan, Pal Yamato, and other shops.
In the opposite direction, there’s Taikotei Nishinomiya, Maruhachi, and the road continues toward Amagasaki City.
Could it be a Starbucks?

The layout looks similar to the restaurant being built in Kubo-cho. Since there seems to be a drive-thru lane running around the store, we wondered if it might be a McDonald’s, but we’ve also heard people say that “a Starbucks is coming.” We can’t say for certain until clearer information comes out, but we think Starbucks is the more likely possibility.
Finally
The construction period is from April 2024 to February 2025, so it’s still quite a ways off. But Route 171 is lined with restaurants that have parking lots, so once it’s completed, it could become quite popular.
