Kumano Shrine is on the north side of Koshienguchi, after going straight along the diagonal road and crossing the Yamate Kansen road.
This year, the summer festival and Bon Odori dance were held on July 21 and 22, so we’re looking back on those memories. “Summer Festival Memories” is a 7-day consecutive series reported by Kagayaki No. 509, a Nishitsu supporter. This is Part 1.

In front of the main hall of Kumano Shrine. So many people!!!
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 3-26 Kumanocho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo.

A festival staple. The headliner. The original. Super balls were holding court, and there seemed to be lots of kids around.

Popular summer festival attractions like Lucky Ball and shooting galleries were lined up.

Maybe that’s ikayaki in the foreground. Food and drink stalls were back this time, which really brought the lively atmosphere up a notch.

Still, when did these mysterious flashy light-up toys start taking over summer festivals? lol

Oh! They’re doing Bon Odori. Here’s the lineup of songs for this time↓

Looks like Mayor Ishii was there too.

Of course, it’s all about the baby strollers!!
