The first location of the ramen shop “えだ屋” in Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi, which we covered in a recent opening news article, is actually this izakaya.

This “えだ屋” will also be taking part in the “Abiki Park Autumn Gourmet Festival.”
So for this izakaya feature, we went to “えだ屋”～
Challenge Start!
First, we started with a “draft beer” (450 yen)!
For food, we ordered this “pork belly with grated daikon and ponzu” (450 yen).
The beer goes down fast……
Second glass.
Apparently, this shop’s specialty is “hormone” offal, so let’s order that next.
Here it is～
It’s the “Specialty! Grilled Hormone” (500 yen).
The sauce is outstanding.
This one also has a flavor that makes you want more beer.
So, the third glass.
And next up, the fourth glass～
Now, it seems like about the right time, so let’s check the bill.
Here’s the result!

Oops, we still had a little room to go.
I should’ve added a fried egg on top of the grilled hormone……
Still, those four beers were very satisfying.
The grilled hormone is especially recommended～
