It looks like around 340 food stalls will be set up for Nishinomiya Shrine’s “Toka Ebisu,” held over three days starting Tuesday, January 9.

This time, they say around 340 stalls will be set up inside the shrine grounds and nearby. With this many visitors, though, it might be hard to even get near the stalls. By the way, there are about 100 stalls for New Year’s shrine visits, so this is more than three times as many!

Until last year, it was surrounded by an acrylic case as a COVID countermeasure, so people couldn’t stick coins onto it. Though some people still did lol
Starting this time, it should be covered with offerings like this. Actually, even bills can be stuck on it! It’s been 4 years. The photo is from 2020

Quite a lot has already been stuck on lol. Toki no Tabibito said theirs fell off after sticking it on. Give it a try!

As usual, restrictions will be in place around Ebessan-suji and near the Chuo Shopping Street. 9:30 a.m. to 11:00 p.m.
