Across the street is Chikuyotei Nishinomiya.
The framework is now up, and there are a few reasons why it looks like this could become a McDonald’s.
The plans look McDonald’s-ish
These are the plans from the construction overview that had been posted before.
It even says things like “OUT.” It gives off the vibe that a drive-thru could be added.

Not sure if this is specific to McDonald’s, but it looks like there may be two drive-thru order lanes. Suspicious.

The project owner is Ryo Plantech. I took a quick look at their website, and they’re a company that handles architectural design and construction.
And when I checked their project portfolio…

They’ve built a ton of McDonald’s locations in Kansai. And not just the ones shown here, either. There are even more.
That said, we can’t say it’s 100% certain, so please keep that in mind.
Finally
In this area, Baskin-Robbins closed, and the takoyaki shop also closed, so things may have been getting a little sad for kids coming to the Traffic Park. But if a McDonald’s opens here, they’ll probably be happy. It’s close by, and they wouldn’t have to cross the traffic light on the big road, so it would be safer too.
