This time, we’d like to introduce “Hinoya,” a yoshoku (Western-style Japanese cuisine) restaurant in the Koshienguchi Shopping Street.
It’s a place with an old-fashioned storefront and classic yoshoku menu.
They’re also scheduled to take part in the “Koshienguchi Bar & Marche” being held on November 10.

Yoshoku “Hinoya” Dishes
There isn’t a separate lunch menu; both lunch and dinner feature the same menu centered around set meals.
This time, we ordered the “Kyushu Pork Loin Steak Set Meal” (1,200 yen).

This is a small side dish of simmered vegetables.
The flavors had soaked in nicely, and it was delicious.
This is the “salad.”
Instead of dressing, it’s topped with homemade tomato sauce.
The main dish is the “Pork Loin Steak.”
This also came with an original sauce and Japanese mustard, and it was very tasty.
It’s not too greasy, either.
It comes with “rice” and “miso soup.”
As we’ve written before, yoshoku really does go well with rice.

The cozy interior has both counter seats and table seating.

It seems like a good spot when you want to sit down and enjoy a relaxed lunch.
