The “Sake no Yamaya” and the “former Gyomu Super” in Imazu Yashiro-mae-cho are being demolished.
(This information was provided by Fucchi @ Nishitsu SP)
Here↓

This is where the former Gyomu Super used to be. Heavy machinery has been brought in, and the building has been demolished and removed.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 5-38 Imazu Yashiro-mae-cho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

Around the former Gyomu Super site

Ozeki is diagonally across the street.

If you go this way, you’ll find Lawson, Imazu Onsen, and then Route 43. It’s around the Nishinomiya Interchange.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find the relocated Gyomu Super, and it leads out to Rinko Line. That’s the area where Konan and Kaitenzushi Rikimaru are located.
The Sake no Yamaya side is almost completely cleared too

Yamaya has also been demolished, and the parking lot that used to be in the foreground of the photo is being cleared as well.

With the building gone, a fairly large open lot has appeared.

According to the demolition notice, the work is scheduled to continue until August 10. About four more days to go.

Only the sign that had been at the entrance was still there. (As of August 4) Will it eventually be taken down too, or will they leave just the sign and use it again for whatever comes next? We wonder🤔
Finally
Especially for those who often went shopping there, it feels a little strange to see such a familiar scene disappear. It’ll be interesting to see how this place changes from here😊
*Fucchi @ Nishitsu SP, thank you for the information!!
