The “Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan” on Route 2 in Ikeda-cho appears to be closing on December 31.

Due to the end of its lease and consolidation with the Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi location, it will close as of Tuesday, December 31.

Area around “Nikujiru Gyoza no Dandadan”
Across the street is the Nishinomiya Regional Wholesale Market.
If you go this way, you’ll find Maido Ookini Shokudo, au Shop Nishinomiya, Kaisenyatai Okuman, Torikizoku, and more.
In the opposite direction, you’ll find Dashi Menya Nishinoaya, Tinker, DURA麺TE, and CoCo Ichibanya, leading toward the intersection in front of JR Nishinomiya Station.
The noren curtain saying “Delicious gyoza hot off the grill.” is nice, isn’t it?
They also have a dedicated takeout window, so it looks easy to stop by and pick something up.

Their “nikujiru gyoza,” with juices bursting out almost like xiaolongbao, were so good you couldn’t stop drinking beer. The “teba gyoza” were packed with filling, and the sansho pepper salt gave them a refreshing, addictive finish. The amount of cilantro was wild!
Lastly
When it opened in the JR Nishinomiya area in 2022, it drew a lot of attention as a new gyoza izakaya. I’m sure many people will be sad to see this valuable gyoza spot disappear. If you’d like to go again, try visiting the Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi location.
