Scenes Around the Grand Ring
There were so many people under the Grand Ring. It was hard to move forward.
Flags from countries around the world appeared to the sound of a wind band performance of “Kono Hoshi no Tsuzuki wo.”

This is what it looked like from the front. Yoichi Ochiai of the null² Pavilion and Sou Fujimoto, who designed the Grand Ring, also appeared.

Passing under the Grand Ring by shuttle bus. The sea stretched out in front of us, and the view was great.
Lots of people were taking photos under the Grand Ring.
Actually, after “taking a photo with the pillar number that matches your age” became popular, pillar numbers were added from 79 to 116. As expected from the Expo Association, they handled it well!

Age 47, father of four. It’s Shachomi. But he’s a man.
Scenes at the Pavilions
The France Pavilion reportedly welcomed 4.67 million visitors. That’s a huge number for a pavilion.
At the Ireland Pavilion, staff gathered together and shared the emotion of the final day. If you know the character in the photo, please tell us.
At the Italy Pavilion, a skating rink suddenly appeared.
The Spain Pavilion still had no wait on the final day! Impressive.

Hyogo Governor Saito was also at the Kansai Pavilion. It almost felt like the Saito Pavilion.

Messages written at the Sustaina Dome.

Hamaamu from Nishi2 wrote one too, haha.

Something was written on the glass too.

This place was also overflowing with messages of thanks from everyone.
An Unexpected Turn at the Night Drone Show
Huge fireworks were launched on the final day too,

and then the “Blue and Rainbow Parade” took place,

and the final drone show was coming to an end…
or so we thought.
“Yahhooooooooooooo!”
Then we heard a familiar voice! The venue started buzzing.
Myaku-Myaku made a surprise appearance!
The cheering at that moment was incredible. They used 3,000 drones. Usually it’s 1,000.
If you couldn’t see it at the venue, watch the video here!
*The drone show is presented by Red Cliff.
Scenes After the Expo Closed

Visitors smiled as a security guard shouted, “We’re sorry we stopped the escalators during the thunderstorm!” A lot happened, but looking back now, they’re good memories.

The final moments of the Grand Ring.

Even after 10 p.m. on the final day, the festivities continued at each pavilion. Nobody wanted to leave.

People connected to Uzbekistan were all singing the Expo theme song together and thanking everyone.

The Grand Ring became a place full of memories.

Then, we spotted someone familiar!

It was Governor Yoshimura! Right at the very end, Governor Yoshimura was going around greeting people in various places. He may have been one of the most talked-about people of the year.
