You probably know “Corowa,” right in front of Hanshin Koshien Station, but…
What’s actually on the “rooftop” on the 7th floor? Isn’t it just a parking lot??? That’s what you’d think, right?
Believe it or not, this grassy area has opened up on the rooftop of Corowa Koshien!
Kids can have fun playing on the free playground equipment,
and you can even get a gold bar!?(well, tissue that looks like one)
This fun spot is actually the newly opening used car showroom “Himawari Garden Corowa Koshien Store”.
“Himawari Garden” is known for its casual, easy-to-drop-by atmosphere, almost like a clothing store. Its main store is in Kobe, and it has operated four directly managed locations in places like Kyoto and Osaka. This will be its fifth store.
From the grand opening on Saturday, November 15 through Monday, November 24, a national holiday, a “garagara lottery” with some seriously great prizes will be held on weekends and holidays only!
All you have to do is shop for 1,000 yen or more at a store inside Corowa Koshien and bring your receipt to join the lottery!
Prizes include things you’d definitely be happy to receive, like a fully automatic water-supply robot vacuum cleaner, a MUJI oven toaster, retort curry, and Tully’s coffee.
And even just by visiting, you can get perks like a free car wash, gold bar tissue, a candy grab event (children only), and a toy car present (children only), so there’s every reason to go!
What’s more, on Saturday, November 22 and Sunday, November 23 only, they’ll be holding a hand-bid used car auction starting from just 1 yen!
It’s a chance to possibly get a car with a regular price of 550,000 yen for an incredibly good deal! (If you want to participate, advance reservations by phone or LINE are recommended.)
These are the two cars, one white and one black, that will be listed in the 1-yen auction.
Here’s what the inside looks like. It even comes with a rearview camera and automatic opening and closing for the rear door!
Until now, the button for the “7th floor (rooftop)” on the escalator had been blocked off, so you couldn’t go there. Now, feel free to press it and casually stop by♪
You can also drive directly up to the rooftop parking lot and park right in front of the showroom! If you want to use the free car wash service, go by car!
