Nishinomiya Tsushin needs money. And starting today, November 21, the Year-End Jumbo Lottery is now on sale.
This may come out of nowhere, but…
- RocketNews24
- TOCANA
- Nishinomiya Tsushin (Nishitsu)

These three sites are going to have a serious showdown!

First, let us introduce who we’re collaborating with
RocketNews24
A media outlet known for bold projects and full-on, hands-on energy.
The editor-in-chief of RocketNews24 is GO Hatori. With that try-anything energy, they’ve got to have strong lottery luck too. I used to read their convenience store food articles all the time~
TOCANA
A news site that dives into the unknown: the occult, supernatural phenomena, UFOs, and more.
TOCANA’s editor-in-chief is Arimi Watanabe. You can really feel a dense aura of luck and power here. If we win, we might get abducted~ lol
So, what about Nishitsu?
We believe Nishinomiya’s luck is among the best in Japan.

- The Lucky Man race at Nishinomiya Shrine
- So many sacred rocks and lucky spots
- Lottery stands known for winning tickets

This is the lottery stand at Kohnan PRO in Imazu!
We have every reason to win, so we’re taking them on
We’re Looking for Nishinomiya’s Strongest Lucky Person
Someone to draw the Year-End Jumbo Lottery as Nishitsu’s representative

We’re looking for “Nishinomiya’s Strongest Lucky Person.”
Applying is easy. Just send us these two things through the application form:
- Your personal luck story
- An idea for a lucky-boosting plan you’d like to do on the day
That’s all you need to write and submit.
For example:
- You were chosen as a Fukuotoko, or Lucky Man
- You draw “daifuku” every year at Nishinomiya Shrine’s New Year visit
- For some reason, your capsule toy luck is unbeatable
- You’ve usually won at the big turning points in life
- Lucky things just somehow seem to happen around you
And so on. We’d love to hear stories that sound powerful!
How will the person be chosen?
We’ll combine everyone’s votes with a final check by the Nishitsu editorial team, and choose the person who feels like they have the strongest luck. So rather than a super strict screening process, it’ll be more like everyone in Nishinomiya choosing together.
If we receive a lot of applications before voting, the Nishitsu editorial team plans to conduct a strict review (does such a thing exist?) and narrow it down to three people.
You’ll Go on a Lottery Expedition with Shachomi
On the day, we’ll go together to a lottery stand somewhere in Nishinomiya. Before and after that, we’ll do our best to join in with the lucky-boosting plan you came up with.

- You want to pray at Nishinomiya Shrine
- You have a pre-challenge meal routine
- You want to buy a lucky bread before going
- You want to walk from north to south, etc.
We welcome those kinds of personal rituals too. We’ll share what happens that day in a video and an article.
Year-End Jumbo Joint Project Pledge
If we win a large prize, Nishitsu will use the prize money according to the following rules.
(1) Split half with the selected participant

Of course, the photo is just for illustration
Since this person will be drawing the lottery with us as Nishitsu’s representative, we’ll split half of it with them in a big way!
(2) Donate 10% to Nishinomiya groups
A shared rule among the three sites is to state that 10% of the prize money will be donated. Nishitsu will donate to activities that make Nishinomiya brighter, such as children’s cafeterias, local culture, welfare, and more.
(3) Use the rest for a project that brings one Nishinomiya dream to life
We’ll ask readers for ideas like “I wish there were a shop like this!” or “I want a place like this!”, and from those ideas, we’ll choose one and actually make it happen through Nishitsu.
- An old-fashioned candy shop
- A fun plaza where everyone can gather
- A cozy late-night soup shop
- A Showa-retro cafe corner
- A free rest area where people with babies can stop by
And more. We’ll put everything we have into something that makes the people of Nishinomiya happy.

This is assuming Nishitsu makes a lot more money someday
Of course, it will have to be within the realm of what’s realistically possible, but if we win, we want to create one fun place in Nishinomiya.
