Creative Japanese-Korean Diner Yuan Opens in Wajocho Along Fudabasuji Where Kamiya Used to Be

A new “創作日韓食堂 結庵(Yuan)” has opened in Wajocho along Fudabasuji Line.

It looks like it opened on December 5 (Fri).

The address is 兵庫県西宮市和上町１−３２.

This is where the motsunabe specialty restaurant “博多流 神屋” used to be. 神屋 has now relocated to Ikedacho along Route 2 and is still in business.

Area Around “創作日韓食堂 結庵”

Across the street, there’s a Komeda’s Coffee.

Going this way, you’ll find Sumitomo Mitsui Banking Corporation and Banshu Shinkin Bank, leading toward Route 2.

In the opposite direction, you’ll pass Chidoriya Soke, Seven-Eleven, then go under the Hanshin elevated tracks toward Route 43.

“結庵” Menu

Samgyetang seems to be the restaurant’s specialty. It’s described as a “rich medicinal chicken paitan soup,” made by carefully drawing out the flavor from chicken bones and simmering it with medicinal ingredients.

Apparently, you can enjoy changing up the flavor with seven kinds of homemade condiments. 😄

Finally

Now that we’re in mid-December, it’s the season when warm dishes really hit the spot. Samgyetang, with medicinal ingredients and ginger, sounds like it’ll warm you right up from the inside.
