There was a sign in front of the shop saying, “Temporarily closed for the time being.” Uwasa no Yaoya’s sister shop, the Koshien store, is also currently closed, and we covered that on Nishitsu a little while ago.

At Uwasa no Yaoya Shukugawa Main Store, standing-bar service also started last year after the greengrocer’s regular business hours, and we previously introduced it on Nishitsu. For those who used the shop regularly, this may feel inconvenient for a while. Both the Koshien shop and the Shukugawa shop seem to be well-loved by people in the neighborhood, so we hope they reopen soon.
