According to KAZU＠にしつーsp, fencing that looked like construction barriers had been set up around June 5.

Even from the ticket gate side, the fenced-off area appeared to extend slightly into the station premises.
The site itself is fairly small. For now, we don’t know what will be built here, but since it’s right in front of the station, we’re curious.
