Hydrangeas in all kinds of colors are blooming along the walking path by the Shukugawa River.
They might look even prettier after the rain.
Wild birds also come to Shukugawa, so it’s nice that you can easily enjoy that real nature vibe.
And this spot is near Katahoko Pond. Apparently, egrets had even built nests there.
The atmosphere is also lovely around the time it starts getting a little dark.
This color is nice too.
On the way back, stopping by Taishoan could be a good option too. 😏

Shukugawa is strongly associated with cherry blossoms, but the hydrangeas this time of year are also really impressive if you go see them. With wild birds and egrets around too, it might be a refreshing place for an occasional nature walk. If you’re interested, be sure to go soon.
