Information around “Merikenko”

This is the exterior of the shop.

Across the street, the Higashigawa River flows by. The Hanshin Bus “Shinkoyoguchi” bus stop is also here.

If you head south, you’ll be going toward Kansai Super Taisha.

On the other side, there is the anko and rice flour sweets shop “Rikka” and the six-way intersection. It’s the area where Coop Koyoen is located.
Merikenko was previously featured in Nishi2 Gourmet for its takeout.

This local okonomiyaki shop is known for its hearty portions, including very large takoyaki and thick okonomiyaki. Apparently, it was once recognized as a “Ningen Kokuho-san” on the TV program “Yo-i Don!” We hope to see it make a healthy comeback soon.
※Anzu @ Nishi2 SP, thank you very much for the information!!
