As we mentioned in the article, a New Year’s calligraphy performance by calligrapher Bisen Aoyagi was held at Hankyu Nishinomiya Gardens on January 4.
The calligraphy created during that performance is now on display on the 2nd floor of Gardens.
Here it is↓

It reads “祥雲.”
What powerful brushwork and striking use of color.
Just looking at it gives you energy.
“祥雲” is said to mean “clouds that represent an auspicious sign.”
The display also included the thoughts behind this work, along with Bisen Aoyagi’s profile.

This calligraphy is apparently on display until Wednesday, January 15, so why not stop by and soak up some of its energy?
