Quite some time ago, we did a feature on hamburgers in Nishinomiya, and after a while, we’ve found a new place.
It seems you can also get hamburgers at the cafe restaurant “Aqua,” which has two locations in Nishinomiya.
This time, we visited “Aqua Honten,” located along National Route 43.

Cafe Restaurant “Aqua Honten” Hamburger
There are several types of hamburgers, but this time I went with the “L.A.BURGUR (Los Angeles Burger)” (1,280 yen).
It’s a hamburger with a “meat patty,” “roasted onion,” “lettuce,” and “tomato.”
You can also add various toppings for an extra 100 yen, so this time I added “bacon” and “cheddar cheese.”
The sauce is teriyaki mayonnaise, but it didn’t feel overly rich. It was the kind of hamburger that really lets the flavors of the ingredients come through.
The “bacon” topping in particular is thick-cut and has a hearty, delicious flavor, so I recommend it. It would probably go well with any of the hamburgers.
The vegetables aren’t just fresh vegetables; the onions are roasted, bringing out their sweetness.
The overall balance of the buns, patty, and vegetables was excellent, making it a very tasty hamburger.
After the meal, I had a “hot coffee” (+300 yen).
It comes in an Aqua-branded cup.
The coffee was delicious too.
