From Mukogawadanchimae Station, walk east for five minutes and you’ll reach the Mukogawa riverbank.
There are vehicle barriers, and from there a row of cherry trees continues for about 600 meters along the riverbank.
It’s an unnamed local spot loved by residents as a walking path from morning through evening.
On this afternoon, elderly couples, couples, and families with children were out strolling.
Along the way, there’s also Takasu Higashi Park and a rest area with beautiful flower beds.
The wind was strong while I was taking photos, and the branches were swaying wildly!
The cherry blossoms were in full bloom, though many had also started turning leafy.
It wasn’t the best day for taking photos, but I’m glad I got to enjoy a relaxed cherry blossom viewing for the first time this year.
Definitely go if you have the chance.

These are the cherry blossoms by the Kugutsushi statue at Sekisui House on Ebessan-suji. Somehow, even the Kugutsushi statue looks happy.

It looked like a few buds were still left. The cherry trees along the river stretch their branches out toward the water, making for a beautiful view !(^^)!

These are the cherry blossoms at Kitayama Botanical Garden. Since it’s a botanical garden, there are plenty of plants besides cherry trees, but in this season you can enjoy many different varieties of cherry blossoms.

Kitayama Pond (Mitsuike), located up in Kitayama, has a cherry blossom viewing plaza. There are many different varieties of cherry blossoms here, and the early-blooming ones had already completely turned leafy.
