If you walk west from Mondo-Yakujin Station for a little while,
you’ll find “中島ファーム”, where you can buy freshly harvested vegetables.
This time, I bought some vegetables directly from the shop staff〜(^O^)／When no one is there, there’s a place to put your money!!
Vegetables I bought at “中島ファーム”
The first thing that caught my eye was this colorful Swiss chard.
It said that since it’s related to spinach, you can cook it the same way as spinach,
but the colors were too pretty to waste, so I sliced the stems thinly and used them as a salad topping(^ ^)
I boiled the leaves and sauteed them with butter…
Beautiful light-green mabikina
Just as the name suggests, these are baby vegetables thinned out so that the best seedlings can grow.
I quickly stir-fried them with sesame oil and enjoyed them(^O^)／
Bright red radishes
I made these into a salad with sliced cucumbers. Of course, I used the leaves too^ – ^
I didn’t buy any, but they also had arugula.
They had other vegetables too, like komatsuna and spinach〜
Everything looked so fresh and delicious!!!! ^ – ^

This time, someone from the shop was there, so it was face-to-face sales, but when it’s unmanned, you put your money in the yellow box〜(^O^)／

Final Thoughts
The other day, Sensei found an unmanned vegetable stand over toward Jurinji, and now we’ve found one near Mondo-Yakujin Station too.
I’ll keep looking to see if there are any others(^ ^)
Since this shop is open only when there are vegetables to sell, I was really happy that this time I got to enjoy some fresh and slightly unusual vegetables!!
