We previously covered this place in an opening article, but I never really had a chance to visit until now.
It used to be a bar with canned foods and retort curry, but a little while ago it reopened as a standing bar. (Personally, I liked the canned foods and curry too.)
Since it’s a standing bar, 3,000 yen should go pretty far for drinks.

Challenge Start!
This time, I’m planning to stick with beer all the way again.
This is “The Premium Malt’s (medium draft)” for 350 yen.
I actually found out partway through that the prices at this place include tax.
And there’s no seating charge or appetizer charge either.
Nice and straightforward.
I ordered the “Grilled Horumon with Miso” for 600 yen.
Apparently, they use “Clear’s original miso.”
Sounds like it’ll go great with beer.
So, on to the second glass.

The miso flavor really speeds up the beer drinking!
Next, I ordered the “Menchi Katsu” for 250 yen.
They’ll bring you sauce too if you want it.
Fourth glass.
For the first time in a while, I made it to a fifth glass.
Standing bars really are powerful.
By my calculations, I still actually had a little room left in the budget.
So to finish things off, I ordered the “Grilled Rice Ball” for 350 yen.
I was completely satisfied with both the drinks and the food!!
