Right outside the north ticket gate of Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi Station, there’s a drink specialty shop called “YOGI”.
It opened on June 27, so I went to check it out (*^^)v
Apparently it’s the first shop in Kansai where you can drink authentic Korean dalgona coffee! I was excited~

What I Bought at Drink Specialty Shop “YOGI”

Strawberry Milk ¥550 (tax included)
The handmade strawberry sauce had lots of real strawberry bits in it (#^.^#)
And on top was plenty of fluffy milk!!
It comes packed in a larger cup, so I really got to enjoy the strawberry milk!
Dalgona Coffee ¥550 (tax included)
What is dalgona?
It’s basically what’s called karumeyaki in Japan! Though these days, you don’t really see stalls selling karumeyaki at festivals anymore, so maybe more people don’t know it… even our boss didn’t know ^^; Simply put, it’s a sugar candy

They said this is what goes into the coffee, and let me try two pieces (^^)
There’s plenty of it topped on the coffee, so if you drink it little by little without mixing, the dalgona gradually melts and makes it sweeter.
Since it’s a generous serving, it might be nice to enjoy how the flavor changes as you drink it ヽ(^o^)丿

From above, you can see how fluffy the strawberry milk is and how generously the dalgona is topped (*^^)v
The “dalgona coffee” that became popular on social media during the stay-at-home period was made by whipping instant coffee with sugar and hot water, then putting it on milk. But authentic Korean dalgona coffee has actual dalgona on top ヽ(^o^)丿
