Kobe Shimbun NEXT reports that a mother and daughter living in Nishinomiya received the “Nojigiku Award,” Hyogo Prefecture’s award for good deeds, from the Nishinomiya Police Station on August 3 for saving a life.

According to the article, Ms. Nishida and her daughter, who live in Nishinomiya City, saw a woman collapse near their home on July 12 and helped save her by performing chest compressions until the ambulance arrived.

I’ve also come across situations several times where someone was in trouble, but even when you understand what should be done, it can be hard to act immediately in the moment.
I think it’s truly wonderful that they were able to act so quickly to save someone’s life.
