The restoration work, including repainting, on Nishinomiya Shrine’s Omote Daimon (Akamon, or Red Gate) has been completed.

Here it is.
It has been repainted and now has a beautiful vermilion color.
There was a notice like this in front of the gate.

It says that a Kiyoharai-shiki purification ceremony and the first ceremonial passage through the gate will be held from 10:00 on Sunday, August 23.
Since it says, “Anyone who wishes to attend is welcome to gather,” it looks like anyone can take part.
