It’s summer! Time for eel! So yes, I had unagi again(^^)v
This article is brought to you by “Nichinoken,” a cram school that supports Nishitsu.
This time, I got takeout from the eel specialty restaurant “成鰻(せいまん)” in Gakubunden-cho along the Kozone Line.
“成鰻” Bento Take and Umaki

Here’s the takeout! It came wrapped in that folded paper packaging that feels kind of nostalgic(╹◡╹)♡

Bento Take ¥2,740 including tax

There are three kinds of bento: Matsu, Take, and Ume.
The Take bento uses one whole eel(^^)v

There’s even a piece of unagi hidden inside the rice〜(╹◡╹)♡ What a treasure〜
The rice is cooked on the firm side, so even after soaking up the sauce, it doesn’t turn mushy!
When you take a big bite of that sauce-soaked rice together with the fluffy unagi, happiness just takes over your mouth💖
The bento is nice and hefty, so it really leaves you full〜About the amount of one lightly filled bowl of rice plus one slice of unagi x 3

Umaki ¥830 including tax
The egg had a gentle sweetness to it, and in a good way, it was the kind of flavor you could totally eat with rice(^^)v
“成鰻” Menu

At this time of year, making a reservation is definitely the safer bet!
For takeout, I was able to pick it up right at the reserved time without waiting(^^)v
