I went to wash the car at “ニシキタ洗車場,” located along the Yamate Kansen near Nishinomiya-Kitaguchi!

Right now, thanks to a collaboration with MINI Nishinomiya, Nishi2 is featured on this MINI Cooper “Crossover”!

It’s been two months since we started driving this car, and the coating probably keeps most dirt off, but areas like the hood…

It’s hard to see in this photo, but there were also little black specks of dirt stuck to it.

So here we are, at the brushless Nishikita Car Wash~~~.
Hours:6:00~22:00
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 1-20 Ryodocho, Nishinomiya City, Hyogo Prefecture.

There are more machines toward the back too, with six car wash machines in total. A long time ago there were only three, but it looks like they expanded in 2019~

You drive the car straight in, lining it up with the yellow line like this.

You stop the car when the green OK light comes on.

Pull in so that the green light turns on like this. If you go too far, just back up~

There are four car wash courses
- Course A: Water 900 yen
- Course B: Detergent + water 1100 yen
- Course C: Detergent + wax + water 1200 yen
- Course D: Detergent + wax + water-repellent coating + water 1500 yen

Even after two months, the MINI is barely dirty. So I figure it must have a pretty good coating, and maybe wax isn’t necessary, so I’m going with Course B: detergent + water!!

Insert the money into the side of the car wash machine.

B Course takes about 7 minutes. Press the button and the wash begins.

The detergent goes pshhhhhhhhh all over the entire car.

Next, a blast of super high-pressure water attacks the MINI lol

The water spray is intenseeeee!! Good kids should watch from a distance. Sorry, we were reporting on it
Wait a second

I missed it~~. I wanted to try the new machine.

Water like rain from an overturned bucket washes away everything from dirt on the windows and more.

I’m pointing at the body, and the MINI logo area is sparkling clean.

Next is the blower. It blasts away the water. Even the hair on my blond wig is fluttering like it’s about to fly off lol

The wind pushes the water away like this. Finally, it’s time to wipe the car down.

The wipe-down area is the parking lot across Yamate Kansen, where the Nishikita Group coin laundry and other facilities are located.

It’s the entire parking lot for the laundry, rice-polishing machine, and Climbing Wheel~

Alright, let’s wipe it down~~!

The areas where water tends to remain after the blower are around the front and rear bumpers.

The wiping cloth we used wasn’t a specialized one, so it might be good to buy one with strong absorbency. There used to be an AUTOBACS near LIFE, though~
↑This chamois cloth is easy to use for absorbing water, so I recommend it. I seriously use it, but I forgot it this time. You can buy it on Amazon. It’s an ad link, so if you buy it, Nishi2 gets a little money!

Around the license plate, maybe because it wasn’t coated, there were some spots where the dirt didn’t fully come off. Looking closely, it had a striped pattern. Water stains?

The Crossover is the largest MINI, but the surface area still isn’t that big, so we finished wiping it down in under 10 minutes!

The cloth was brand new, but after wiping the car, it did turn a little black. Still, that means most of the dirt came off with the high-pressure wash, right?
