A bunch of unusual vending machines have been installed on the 1st floor of EDION along Yamate Kansen.

There are six types in total. Apparently they’re by the elevator on the 1st floor. I’m guessing they were added as part of EDION’s recent renovation.

6 Types of Vending Machines
Junya @ Nishitsu Supporter sent us photos of what’s there, so let’s take a look.
Fresh whipped cream juice with an acrylic keychain from the local anime “The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya.” There are 10 kinds in total, and each one is 2500 yen! The character illustrations were apparently drawn by fan artist “Kumakuma-san.” They’re super cute. I want one.
A wagyu gacha for 2000 yen per try. Apparently there’s a winning prize of Miyazaki beef worth 10,000 yen. At minimum, you get A5-grade domestic wagyu worth at least 2000 yen, so it might be good if you’re thinking about doing yakiniku at home. I’m curious how much meat you get.
A collaboration gacha vending machine featuring cake cans and the popular gaming commentary channel “Dozle Corp.” There are 12 kinds in total, and each can is 1000 yen. It looks like you get a label and limited-edition image data. The flavors are shortcake or chocolate.
One Piece cake can gacha. 1000 yen each. There are also three types of original cake cans you can choose and buy directly. It looks like the labels on the cake cans can be removed. The flavors are interesting too, with unusual ones like pistachio, blueberry rare cheesecake, and black sesame.
Evangelion cake can gacha, 1200 yen each. These also have peel-off label stickers. There are lots of flavors: blueberry, orange, lemon, cassis, raspberry, chocolate, strawberry, peach, and melon, for a total of nine.
Finally, a non-cake-can vending machine
This is the most standard cake vending machine among them. It says frozen desserts. There’s shortcake, chocolate cake, Mont Blanc, and macarons. But it still has shortcake cans in it.
I’ll go check it out sometime.
