“THALI,” which we previously covered in an opening article, had its grand opening today, so we went to check it out right away!

Indian Restaurant & Bar “THALI” Food
It looks like they serve a variety of standard Indian dishes.
This time, we decided to try the classic chicken curry and naan set.

This is the “Garlic Chicken Masala” (1,100 yen) with the “Thali Set (naan)” (+100 yen).
The “Thali Set” comes with either naan or rice, plus soup, salad, and dessert.
For just +100 yen, that’s a pretty good deal.
The menu has spice marks indicating the level of heat, so if you like spicy food or aren’t good with it, use those as a guide (you can also adjust the spiciness).
Incidentally, this curry had a spice mark and was apparently five times hotter than normal, but personally, I didn’t find it that spicy.
If you like spicy food, I think ordering it around 10 to 20 times hotter might be a good choice.
It was a very authentic curry, spicy of course, but also full of rich chicken flavor. It was really delicious.
It looks like they have a tandoor installed in the kitchen, so of course the naan is baked in-house.

“Naan” and “rice” come with free refills, so I had a second piece.
Refill naan is also available in a half size (the photo shows the half size).
Freshly baked naan has a nice, full wheat flavor and tastes great.
