We hadn’t covered it in our opening-news section, but a new tsukemen and abura soba shop opened near Hankyu Kotoen Station in January this year.
This time, we’re introducing “麺屋 なる戸.”
Since opening, it seems they’ve continued making small adjustments to the menu and more. It’s an up-and-coming shop that has also been featured in “Ramen Walker Kansai.”
We stopped by during lunchtime.
“麺屋 なる戸” Food
I ordered the “Abura Soba All-Star” (990 yen).
As you can see, it’s loaded with toppings, including seafood powder, meat miso, and a seasoned egg.
There’s sauce at the bottom, so mix it well before eating.
The sauce had a seafood-based flavor.
There was plenty of chashu pork too, making it a very filling bowl.
It felt like all the different flavors blended together to create something new, and it was really delicious.
By the way, you can choose from three types of noodles.
I’d like to try all of them, but…
This time, I chose the “S” noodles on the far right.
You can add these while eating and enjoy the change in flavor.
Personally, I like the “chili oil” and “vinegar,” but they’re not special versions made for abura soba, just regular chili oil and vinegar, so be careful not to add too much.
By the way, you can also get a large serving of noodles for free.
“麺屋 なる戸” Menu
There’s a ticket vending machine right after you enter, so you buy your meal ticket first.
That means the ticket machine basically serves as the menu.
There are also menus at the seats, just in case.
