A home-like daycare that feels like a stand-in for moms and dads will newly open on April 1!
Shachomi from Nishitsu came to the nighttime daycare “suku suku,” which opens from 16:00.

Inside the daycare, there was a reassuring space where staff can see the whole room at a glance, no matter where the little ones are 
That’s the kind of feeling when you drop your child off. They care for children at the most hands-on age, from 4 months to 2 years old, from 16:00 to 24:00. Extended care is available until 2:00 a.m., and you can also consult with them about children outside the target age range. That flexibility is really appreciated.

Thick futons ↓
Usually you either bring a futon or rent/lease one, but at suku suku, they lend futons for free. If you bring your own, washing and airing out the bulky futon can be a lot of work, but they take care of all of that too. It’s great that you can drop your child off empty-handed.
※Checks are done every 5 minutes for infants under 1, and every 10 minutes for ages 1 and 2.
About the futons
The mattresses use comfortable, thick, firm padding designed to help prevent SIDS and support infants’ skeletal development.
For blankets, they use towel blankets or cotton blankets depending on the season.

Please prepare only baby wipes and diapers.
（Even if you don’t have them ready, they can provide diapers for 50 yen each and baby wipes for 110 yen per pack.）
For meals, they can accommodate your child’s stage of development, from “milk → baby food（early, middle, late, and complete stages）+ the necessary amount of milk → toddler meals.” They can also handle frozen breast milk.
You can also feel at ease because they can provide allergy-friendly meals.
For meals, the children eat the same food together with the childcare workers and nurses. They chat while eating, saying things like, “This is spring cabbage.”
Apparently, the childcare workers wear “kappogi” aprons at mealtime. When raising children, adults tend to rely on verbal reminders, but by wearing kappogi, children can visually notice, “Oh, it’s time to eat now.” It’s part of their approach to helping children understand what comes next through visual cues. They might start drooling whenever they see a kappogi. lol
A toothbrush is given as a gift when registering as a member. The daycare individually disinfects and manages the toothbrushes, so you can feel安心.
Although it is an unlicensed daycare facility, safety measures that meet licensed daycare standards are in place 
①Vomiting cleanup kits to prevent secondary infection and emergency bags are placed where they can be easily accessed.
②There was a manual for temperature control when cooking meat. Cutting boards are color-coded according to the ingredients.
③Dedicated seats were prepared for children who need allergy accommodations.
④Doors such as those on the restroom are covered to prevent fingers from getting caught.
Other safety measures include children wearing bright bibs during walks, SECOM security for indoor safety, fire extinguishers placed where they are easy to access, an automatic fire extinguishing system, and a separate door for the evacuation route.
They also play at parks, but there are many ways for children to move their bodies indoors as well. A teacher who is good at English（a nurse）also holds English play activities occasionally.
There were also pretend-play toys, trains, and more, with a really wide variety of toys suitable for children from 4 months to 2 years old.
They are planning baby massage classes and dinner gatherings in the future. They’ll be free.
