The current Imazu Lighthouse↓

Oh wow, it’s kind of surrounded by barriers. Still, it looks so hot out there
That’s right. Preparations for relocating Imazu Lighthouse are steadily moving ahead.

It’s surrounded by fencing like this.

See? It’s properly glowing green. Even though you can’t see the lighthouse itself.

Apparently, it’s still functioning as a lighthouse for the time being, but when Sensei mentioned it, he took off in a flash and went at lunchtime, so we decided to have him dash back again at night too!
And at night, it looks like this↓

It’s definitely lit up green

You can see the green light from another angle too, so even with the fencing around it, and even though it’s Japan’s oldest wooden lighthouse, it’s still doing its job properly.
Finally
Imazu Lighthouse is scheduled to be suspended at 19:00 on August 10, with a lights-out ceremony to be held. This will be the last time to see it in its green form. Next, it will be red. Here’s why
