It looks like cherry blossoms 🌸 have started blooming in Ichiriyamacho.

Various Cherry Blossoms in Ichiriyamacho
There’s a long, narrow park along the road at the site, and all kinds of cherry trees are planted there.
Kawazu-zakura. It’s famous as an early-blooming cherry blossom. The flowers are a slightly deeper pink, and they really stand out against the winter sky.
Apparently, you can also find them at Kanno-ji Temple in Nishinomiya.
Okame-zakura. It’s read as “Okanzakura.” Not “Daikan,” okay?
It’s said to bloom about a week earlier than the typical cherry blossom, Somei Yoshino. This year, you might be able to see the flowers from around mid-March.
There are lots of buds too. Maybe they’ll bloom a little later.
Ukon-zakura. Apparently, it’s read as “Ukonzakura.”
Turmeric, which is used as a spice and dye, is known for its yellow color, and this cherry blossom got its name because the flower color resembles the yellow of turmeric.
Its blooming season is said to be a little later, around mid-April.
Fugenzou. “Fugenzou”??? It doesn’t really sound like the name of a cherry blossom, does it?
This cherry tree was planted at Fugendo in Kamakura, and the name apparently comes from the white elephant ridden by Fugen Bosatsu. Beautiful double-flowered cherry blossoms are said to bloom around April.
Some buds look like they’re about to bloom soon. Can’t wait 😊
By the way, Nishinomiya City’s flower is the cherry blossom.
