Cherry blossoms are blooming in Nishinomiya.

And it’s not just a single blossom or anything like that.

The photos were taken on February 2. The location is Kanno-ji Temple.
Here it is on the map↓
The address is 25-1 Kabutoyamacho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.

After checking with Google Lens, it’s probably “Kawazu-zakura.” Apparently, it’s an early-blooming cherry blossom that starts flowering in early February.
By the way, at Kanno-ji Temple last year, the usual cherry blossoms started blooming at the end of March.

Apparently, the full-bloom period lasts about a week to 10 days, so around Valentine’s Day might be perfect! This weekend could be a good time to go.
Thank you, Iroha @ Nishitsu SP, for the tip!!
