Who needs to make a reservation?
- People under age 70 who have received a “driver’s license renewal notice postcard”
People who do not need to make a reservation
- People who have already completed an elderly driver training course, etc.
- People renewing before the regular renewal period (overseas travel, childbirth, etc.) *Proof is required
- People whose registered address is not in Hyogo Prefecture but are renewing their license in Hyogo Prefecture (the so-called “transit application”)
- People completing a driver’s license renewal procedure that also involves reissuing the license (loss, etc.)
What do you need to make a reservation?
- Renewal postcard
- Your current driver’s license
- If switching to a My Number driver’s license, a valid My Number Card that has not expired
When can you make a reservation?
- It is written on your renewal postcard. (It is the same as your eligible renewal period.)

What should you do after making a reservation?
- A QR code will appear, so don’t forget to take a screenshot!
