It looks like the shop closed as of Sunday, May 10.
There was also a notice for the new shop opening there. It looks like the “Teppan Sakaba Metro-tei” we wrote about a little while ago will indeed be opening at this location🙌
It says it will open on Friday, June 5.
The Dandadan sign had already been removed, and it looked like interior work had started inside.

In closing
The notice mentioned items like “teppan dashimaki made with brand-name eggs” and “house-prepared pork kakuni.” It’s in a convenient spot right by Nishikita Station, so we’re looking forward to seeing what kind of atmosphere the new place will have when it opens.
