“THALI,” which opened last year under the elevated Hankyu Railway tracks, is an Indian restaurant serving authentic Indian curry, and we’ve featured it on Nishitsū before.
This restaurant has also started offering takeout, so this time we got authentic Indian curry from “THALI” to go.

Indian Restaurant & Bar “THALI” Food
This time, we bought the “Chicken Coconut Curry” (1,000 yen).
For the curry, you can choose either naan or rice. Since I had naan last time, I went with rice this time.
This rice might be turmeric rice, and it’s cooked in a way that goes really well with Indian curry.
The curry I had last time was quite spicy and on the hot side, so this time I tried a milder option. The savory flavor of the chicken and the gentle sweetness of the coconut go together really well, and it was delicious.
That said, it was still fairly spicy…
When you go to an Indian curry restaurant, you’re often surprised by how big the naan is, but at this restaurant, the rice portion is also quite generous, making it very filling.
