We previously wrote about Nishinomiya’s first street piano being installed at ACTA Nishinomiya, but it had become unavailable due to the impact of the novel coronavirus.
With the recent lifting of the state of emergency, it looks like the piano has been available again since June, so we’d like to introduce it once more.
This is the street piano.
It is located in the central plaza on the 2nd floor of ACTA Nishinomiya East Building.
The sign says, “Please feel free to play.”
It seems to be available now.
The hours are apparently 10:00–20:00.
It may be unavailable when events are being held.
Hand sanitizer had been set up there.
Please disinfect your hands before playing and wear a mask.
Here is the list of precautions.
・Please play gently, with consideration for nearby shops and people shopping.
・Please refrain from collaborative performances with other instruments, as well as singing or singing while playing.
・Please share the piano with others, such as by limiting each performance to 1–2 songs.
・Please do not use the piano for promotional activities by performers (handing out flyers for live shows) or commercial activities (busking or ticket sales).
Please keep these points in mind.
A street piano is only meaningful when it’s played, so why not give it a try sometime?
