Our Shukugawa lunch roundup article is here↓
Introducing restaurants visited by Nishitsu’s food writer
in our 【Nishitsu Gourmet】 series.
This time, we went to
a soba restaurant inside Shukugawa Green Town,
about a 2-minute walk from Hankyu Shukugawa Station:
「以知川」
(*’ω’ノノ゙

Actually, I had been here before.
It may have an image of being popular with older customers, but there are also families with children, and even young people dining alone✨
It gets crowded around lunchtime, but the turnover is quick, so I don’t think you’ll have to wait long❗️
The menu looks like this↓

Centered on soba and udon, they have a wide variety of dishes, including rice bowls, tempura, and more🎵
Here’s what I had this time↓

★Oyakodon (950 yen, tax included)
The oyakodon is the main dish here, and it comes with either mini soba or udon.
You can also choose whether you want it with cold broth or hot broth.
The oyakodon comes with sansho pepper…
and the udon has ginger in it, so if you don’t like either, you can ask them to leave it out!

This time, I had the “cold udon”🎵
It had a nice firm texture and was delicious☺️✨

The big chunks of chicken, large pieces of green onion, and raw egg all came together beautifully, and it was really tasty😆
Time seems to pass slowly at 以知川, making it a comfortable place to spend time, so Mii @ Nishitsu goes there often✨
The prices are reasonable too, so if you’re curious, please give it a try sometime☺️
Thank you for the meal!!
I’d love to go again!
