Don’t worry

It’s a Hanshin Bus!

It says “Electric Bus.”

It looks like this is an EV bus that doesn’t emit CO2. It debuted on May 1!!
Apparently it has features like these:
- The first example of its kind among regular route buses in Hyogo Prefecture
- No CO2 emissions, with less vibration and noise
- Smooth acceleration and a low-floor design that makes it easy to get on and off

The two-person seats toward the back have a separate, independent-looking design.
Sightings came in
Here are some reports of Nishitsu readers spotting the Hanshin Bus electric bus.

The electric bus leaving Koshien Stadium.
Apparently each seat has a USB port, and the step for getting off is much lower now. Also, when it slows down, it apparently makes a sound like an airport monorail coming to a stop. Pretty interesting, right?

The electric bus driving along the Old National Route.
This time, Hanshin Bus apparently introduced two EV buses. Right now, electric buses running around Japan seem to be only BYD-made, from China. Hope Japan steps it up too〜.

Finally
Some people might see this bus and be surprised, thinking, “That doesn’t look like a Hanshin Bus!” After reading this article, you can relax and hop on.
Hamaamu, thank you for the information!
