As we reported in June, fares for Hankyu Bus and Hanshin Bus routes running within Nishinomiya City, currently 220 yen, will increase to 230 yen in September.

Fares for commuter and school passes, including school buses, will also increase. However, it looks like commuter passes purchased by August 31 can still be used as they are. If you’re planning to buy one, it may be better to do so soon.

Since fares within Nishinomiya City are currently 220 yen, the plan is for them to become 230 yen this September, and then later rise gradually to 240 yen.

Hankyu Bus will also raise its current 220 yen fare to 230 yen this September. Another 10 yen increase is also planned for fall 2024, one year later.
