“Kome Kobo Hiwada Beikoku” in Miyako Shopping Street has closed.
(This information was provided by Yamada-san and Fukuchan @ Nishitsu SP.)
Here’s the notice ↓

According to reader Yamada-san, it likely closed sometime around last week. It seems the shop had been operating here for more than 60 years.
Here it is on the map ↓
The address is 12-13 Kasayacho, Nishinomiya, Hyogo Prefecture.
Area around “Kome Kobo Hiwada Beikoku”

If you go this way, you’ll find “Sobagen” next door, the kushikatsu izakaya “Temarichan Temari,” Megane no Fuji, and then you’ll reach Rinko Line.

If you go in the opposite direction, you’ll find Izakaya En, Sumire Pharmacy, and then continue past Mukogawa Women’s University toward National Route 43.
Finally
The number of shops in Miyako Shopping Street has gradually been decreasing, and the closure of a shop that had been around for so many years really makes you feel the passage of time. We’ve also received information that the Jizo statue that had long stood inside the shopping street was recently removed, so we’d like to write about that as well sometime soon〜
※Thank you to Yamada-san and Fukuchan @ Nishitsu SP for the information!!
