I had only recently started using it often on my way home from the gym, so this is really disappointing. I liked the spacious store and the music playing inside somehow, and it had become one of my favorite supermarkets.

Baskin-Robbins is gone too, and now MaxValu as well… I have too many memories here… I think I’ll be feeling MaxValu loss for a while… What am I supposed to do with my happy little everyday life? 😭

When I was a student, I worked part-time in the checkout section. It’s been over 10 years since I quit, but most of the part-time staff are still the same. There were customers I got to know well, too. Even after I left, I kept shopping there because I live nearby. I would catch up with the staff, and to me it was a warm, homey store. I never imagined it would close. I definitely plan to shop there on the final day as well.

It was very close to my parents’ home, and my father, who has difficulty walking, used it. Everyone there was so kind and thoughtful, so it’s a shame.

There was a time when it opened from 7 a.m. I remember once realizing we had no bread for breakfast on a day off, rushing over to buy some, and everything worked out. Since it was on my way home from work, it was really convenient for picking up a few extra things, so I’m sad to see it go.

After playing with my child at the traffic park, we would buy juice at MaxValu and drink it together on the bench outside. On nights when my child just wouldn’t sleep, I’d take them shopping and let them play on the slide inside the store. When I was pregnant or shopping with my child, I would ask for delivery… My life has been alongside MaxValu… (TОT) I’m truly sad, but you helped me so much. Thank you (;_;)

I shop there often. I also used the hair salon, dry cleaner, and takoyaki shop that were attached to it. It’s sad that it’s closing. I hope another supermarket opens here someday.

It was convenient in so many ways, like stopping by for lunch during work or on the way home, so life will be less convenient now.

When my child was still in a stroller, when they started toddling around, and when they became able to help using a child-sized shopping basket, this store was always by our family’s side, almost like it was watching them grow. I’m truly sad and lonely about this. Thank you for so many memories.

Until Mandai opened, this was the only nearby supermarket. Maybe it’s because Aeon acquired Marunaka and it became Daiei. It’s a shame.

When my child was a baby and would fuss and refuse to sleep, I often took them out for a walk in the stroller, stopped by MaxValu, and then went home. The store was spacious, the aisles had plenty of room, and it was open from early morning, which really helped. I often bought bread for breakfast at the bakery. I’m sad it’s closing, but thank you for everything!

I remember rushing over in a panic to buy diapers for my son. It was the perfect distance for a walk from home, and it helped me so much while raising my child.
